The Wood between the Worlds

This is a week of transition. I’m home but it’s not as familiar as it used to be. It’s pretty much the same actually – the food, the smells, the places, the friends….but it’s like looking at everything through new glasses.

It makes me really appreciate what I have.

I’m really thankful the Black Strat is with me.

Heard about your Suhr Badger from our mutual friend in Mumbai. Seems the way to go these days i.e. using power scaling to get the full cranked tone at manageable volumes.By strange happenstance, I have been researching low-wattage amps and actually found much of the material on the web lacking, so was going to start a blog called – guess – Tone Science. And then I found yours. Mine will deal with using scientific principles to get great tone. Hopefully I won't be infringing on any copyrights etc. of yours.

Mine was supposed to be the same and then I ended up with the mess of ramblings I have here. The Badger is the shit – I've stopped messing around at home and found so much time to play. Also for the first time in my life I have soundmen telling me to turn it up : )
